Today, we kicked off our #FoodForHeroes campaign with the delivery of 40 Little Caesars pizzas 🍕🍕to the staff at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.

In this time of uncertainty, we all want to help! There are so many of us who are not sure exactly what we can do right now in order to provide support to those keeping us protected. We also can’t help but think of our customers in the fast-casual and quick service restaurant (QSR) space, who are facing tremendous challenges due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent “Shelter in Place” orders.

NuArx developed a plan to bring together some of America’s most iconic restaurant brands with the hospital and first responders through the gift of food. As part of our #FoodforHeroes campaign, each Friday, NuArx will highlight restaurant franchise owners and donate food on their behalf to local hospitals or first responder units.

On Thursday, April 2nd, 40 Little Caesars pizzas fed some of the hundreds of amazing healthcare workers at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Ali Nehmeh, franchise owner/operator of Little Caesars Pizza located at 15574 Middlebelt Road (Redford, MI) went above and beyond to ensure this program was a success. Due to the severity of social distancing and measures to keep medical professionals safe, the food had to be packaged and delivered in individual containers.

Ali took it upon himself to locate and purchase carry out containers for this mission. His team sliced, packaged and delivered 160 containers of pizza to the hospital.

Many thanks to Ali and the team for being so enthusiastic and quick to help, while also being conscious of the specific tactics taken to make sure these heroes are safe.

Special thanks to Beaumont’s Chris Morrisroe, Maureen Husek and Brian Rosso for helping us coordinate the delivery of food to our Beaumont heroes.

Stay safe and stay healthy.
